Refund Policy

Effective date: November 4, 2025

We want you to love your order. If something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to make it right.

What’s eligible

  • Damaged or incorrect items: If your order arrives damaged, spoiled, or not as described, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos.

  • Missing items: Let us know within 24 hours so we can investigate with the carrier and send a replacement or refund.

What isn’t eligible

  • Perishable food that is opened, partially consumed, improperly stored, or reported after the 24-hour window.

  • Change-of-mind or taste preference returns.

  • Final sale or clearance items (if marked).

  • Gift cards and downloadable items (if offered).

Returns

Because our products are perishable, returns are generally not required. If we request a return for quality review, we’ll provide instructions. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Refund or replacement

When a claim is approved, we’ll offer one of the following, at our discretion:

  • Replacement of the affected item(s), or

  • Refund to your original payment method (processing times vary by bank/card issuer), or

  • Store credit if you prefer.

Order cancellations & changes

  • You may request a cancellation or address change before the order is processed/shipped. Once processing begins, we can’t guarantee changes.

  • If an order cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout, shipping fees are non-refundable and reshipment may require an additional fee.

Shipping area reminder

We ship only within New York State (NY). Orders placed with addresses outside NY will be canceled and refunded.

Lost or delayed packages

Carrier or weather delays are outside our control. If a package is shown delivered but you cannot locate it, please check with household members and neighbors first, then contact us—we’ll help file a carrier claim.

How to start a claim

Email sema@baklove.store within 24 hours of delivery with:

  1. Order number

  2. Description of the issue

  3. Photos of the product(s), packaging, and shipping label

We’ll respond with next steps.

Other important notes

  • Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method.

  • We reserve the right to limit refunds or replacements in cases of suspected abuse or repeated claims.

  • This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
